Untouched Coast Tour

Off the beaten track, North Okinawa’s East side has some pristine coastline for those of you who like it raw and untouched, this tour can take us outside the protection of the reef and into the Pacific Ocean. Following the coast, there are various options which include snorkelling, a waterfall and a popular mangrove river. This area has had very little development in comparison with much of Okinawa’s main island. While for guests who have some experience of sea kayaking, with suitable conditions, beginners can paddle here too.
What’s included with the tour
Kayak and paddle, life jacket.
Caffeine free drink and a snack.
Waterproof bags, we advise that water sensitive equipment be left at the shore.
Wind/splash jackets if necessary.
Sun/Splash/spray deck if necessary.
We take and provide pictures for free.
What to bring
A drink (0.5-2L depending on the season).
Sun protection/winter comfort, appropriate for the weather and time of year (Hat, Sunglasses, long sleeves – trousers and a jumper in winter). Quick drying clothes are recommended.
Reef boots or shoes that can get wet, advise of your size if you would like to borrow our reef boots (recommended).
A towel and spare clothes (intentional or not, we might get wet) to be left in the car.
For tours greater than 3 hours, we will recommend some light food suitable for the duration.
